Man Who Moved Mountain

When I visted Tajmahal I was in a complete awe..... "How can someone love his wife this much"? But when I knew that nearly 20,000 workers have to pay their hands and legs I was alittle bit down but still enjoyed the monument.
Now I know a man who did more than Shahjahan... Dasrath Manjhi. Though a musahar(People who eat rats and feed an the grains stored in the rat holes--- Poorest of the poor) he thought beyond the horizons and now stood as a super human. It all started 22 yrs back when his wife was ill and had to be taken to the near by village hospital. He could not make it in time as a mountain stood in between and has to take a circuitous route. A straight way of 6 Kms was then 19 Kms and his wife could not survive that long.
Anyone could have wept and cursed the hill. But this made Dasrathji a man on mission. He thought no one in his village should face it again and decided to alter geography with a chisel, hammer and his two hands. The villagers of Gelaur (Bihar) thought he has lost his mind but now he was treated as a man of legend who dug a moutain of 350 ft long, 25 ft high and 30 ft wide. He is now called as Dasrath Baba, the respect given only to higher caste people.
The government now is on amove to build a pucca road and also a hospital in Gelaur after his name.
